• No false statement of fact in relation to the personal character or conduct of any candidate. This does not apply to one’s own political views communicated through the Internet.
• No defamatory statements
• No statements to incite violence, disobedience to the law, promote enmity between different religious or racial groups or prejudice the maintenance of harmony.
• No election advertising on polling day. However, this does not apply to materials published on the internet before polling day, provided that it is not changed on polling day.
• No election surveys from the date of issue of the writ of elections until polling day. An election survey is an opinion survey on how electors will vote on any candidate or political party.
• No exit polls and forecast of election results based on the polls.
